Solomon Akiyesi has been married to Lilian Akiyesi for seven (7) years now after the two dated for approximately six (6) years. So in essence, they have together for thirteen (13) years.
After Lilian failed to conceive for years, she finally got pregnant last year. Her husband was, however, cheating on her with a Lagos based lady (Lilian and Solomon are based in Port Harcourt). Solomon’s mistress got pregnant and the two started planning a secret wedding that was supposed to take place today, April 13th. His legally married wife got wind of the news a bit early, as fate would have it. Upon confirmation of the “sham” wedding, she [Lilian] immediatley contacted the police, took some family members and friends and stormed the wedding venue which was set to hold at – Overcomers World Outreach located at Overcomers Close, off Ramlat Timson str, in Aguda, Surulere.
Lilian, who is presently eight (8) months pregnant, stormed the church and managed to stop the wedding before the pastor could pronounce her husband and his concubine ’husband and wife’. The police were later called to return sanity to the place.
Sources say Solomon sent money to Lilian on the 12th of April and promised to return home next week. He told his wife he was in Lagos to shoot a movie.
