CHRIS BROWN DUMPED BY GIRLFREND, KARRUECHE TRAN!!!

Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown
Karrueche Tran didn't dump Chris Brown because of the girl he allegedly banged in rehab. Sources close to the model says, she dropped the hammer on their relationship because he refused to stop texting his army of jump offs.

There's been speculation that Karrueche pulled the plug when she found out he had hooked up with another girl in his facility at the beginning of March but the break-up preceded that Karrueche ended things after she visited Chris in rehab the month before.

Sources says, Karrueche saw Chris' phone during her visit and it was filled with inappropriate texts from other girls. It was the last straw. Karrueche was especially pissed because she'd been nothing but supportive to Chris throughout his ordeal, even going to court with him.

Karrueche wasn't even aware Chris had allegedly been getting down with girls in rehab until long after the break-up.

I’ll donate confab money to charity –Bakare

Tunde-BakareR
adical pastor and one of the delegates representing Ogun State in the ongoing National Conference, Tunde Bakare, has revealed that he will donate his own share of the allowances and stipends from the conference to charity.
Bakare, who spoke to Daily Sun in an exclusive interview, said he does not need the money, insisting that he is not in Abuja to for the money, but to render his services look to the country.
“I do not need the money they are paying. I am here to render my service to the country. If it becomes very important, I will give the money to charity,” Bakare revealed.
The pastor expressed optimism that Nigerians will align and accept the outcome of the resolutions that will emerge from the conference.
“What we expect is in line with the opening comment of Mr. President. We will all work together to build a Nigeria everyone will be proud of,” he said.
Bakare also vowed that he would not forsake the country, come rain or shine. He said he would stay and fix the problems of the country, stating: “No retreat, no surrender.”
According to him, “I am not going to walk out, no matter what. I am going to stay here and fix the problems. In war, no retreat, no surrender.
“I am certain that the outcome of the conference will be accepted by every Nigerian. I do not want to reveal what I have in my arsenal right now, so that we do not start unnecessary debates in the minds of people. We should wait and see.”
Similarly, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ayo Oritsejafor has said yesterday that the outcome of the National Conference will usher in peace and stability.
Oritsejafor, who spoke in Abuja during the National Consultation organised by the Think-Nigeria Christian-Muslim Movement, which had in attendance Muslims and Christian faithful, said: “I wish, at this juncture, to express my happiness on the ongoing National Conference, which Mr. President inaugurated on Monday. We are all pursuing justice, equity, love and understanding, which will ultimately usher in lasting peace in Nigeria.
“As we have kept faith with this conference, it shows that we have resolved to stay united and patient, for it is patience and steady focus that make the final difference between those who succeed or fail in what they set out to do. We love Nigeria and so shall continue to think Nigeria.”
Keynote speaker at the interactive forum, Professor Mohammed Al-Amin, said Nigeria is a sick country and needs the help of everyone to put the country back on the path of growth.
Al-Amin said: “The infrastructure in this country is collapsing. We need men of God and integrity to push the country back to its days of glory. If we do not do that, the crisis and annihilation facing this country are enormous. There is something wrong with the psyche of Nigerians. Religion has become an agent of wickedness and division instead of unity and love.
“Most of the people in the National Assembly did not get there based on merit. Many of them did not get there through the right means. It is a country that has a brain damage that can afford to do this.
“The resources of this country are enormous. They reside in the hands of a few people. Let us use whatever mechanism we have to ensure that the resources of this country are shared equitably.

FCTA To Take Delivery Of 100 New Mega Buses In April

FCT Buses

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, on Tuesday said it had purchased 100 new high capacity buses to complement the existing Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company buses plying the territory.
This was contained in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister, Muhammad Sule.
The FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, in the statement, said the buses would arrive in the country next month.
The statement noted that the additional buses would help to expand the fleet of AUMTCO in the city and also improve service delivery in the FCT.
“These buses were ordered from China and production is expected to be completed by March”, it said.
It explained that AUMTCO currently transports about 60,000 passengers per day to their various destinations within the FCT and 1.5 million per month at the maximum load point.
It further noted that the cashless paper ticketing system which was introduced on January 18 seemed to be accepted by the public, considering the level of compliance.
“We planned to migrate to e-ticketing in the next few months, as installation of the equipment on the buses has already commenced”, it said.

FCT Commences ‘Operation Kick Out’ Hawkers, Homeless

street hawker

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has declared his resolve to rid off the streets of Abuja of beggars, hawkers, prostitutes and operators of tricycles, popularly known as Keke NAPEP.
Mohammed made this declaration yesterday when he led the high-powered Special Enforcement Task Force Team on Abuja City Cleaning and Management on its first demonstration ride and inspection within the Abuja metropolis.
He vowed to spend more time outside, and less in his office on physical inspection and monitoring.
The minister warned “hawkers, beggars, prostitutes, commercial motorcycle riders and keke operators to keep off the capital city as the clean up exercise would be routine and permanent.
“It is not going to be business as usual. I will personally be here on the field supervising together with the task force…We have got a very vibrant chairman of the task force team and members. They too are under my supervision. It is a multi-dimensional task force that is out to make sure our basic rules and regulations are obeyed.
“There will be no hiding place for commercial motorcyclists and tricycle operators in the city, and these two modes of transportation have been used to wreak havoc in other places.
The random springing up of mechanic workshops and car marts in the city will no longer be condoned.”
Mohammed however, assured the people that the task force would work assiduously with human face to make FCT a better place for everybody.
He said the FCT Administration (FCTA) has created about one million jobs and business opportunities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) within the last four years since he became minister.
He stated that through the new transport policy of the FCTA, drivers have been turned to vehicle owners via the SURE-P hire purchase scheme reputed to be the most affordable in the country.
The minister added that soon taxis plying FCT roads estimated to hit 10,000 would all be captured biometrically and fitted with tracking devices for enhanced security.
He also said the FCTA would be employing about 7,000 youths in environmental and traffic related jobs in the city.
Also, the task force Chairman and FCT Commissioner of Police, Mr. Joseph Mbu, equally vowed to keep his foot on the ground to ensure that Abuja is fully sanitised.
Mbu described the FCT minister as a very hardworking and result-oriented man “who doesn’t sleep,” pledging that “together, we are going to do better than what I did in Rivers State.” [Thisday]

We Saw Low Flying Jet Simular To Malaysian - Maldives Island Residents

Residents of the remote Maldives island of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll have reported seeing a "low flying jumbo jet" on the morning of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Whilst the disappearance of the Boeing 777 jet, carrying 239 passengers has left the whole world in bewilderment, several residents of Kuda Huvadhoo claimed that they saw a "low flying jumbo jet" at around 6:15am on March 8.
According to them, it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it – which is what the Malaysia Airlines flights typically look like.
Eyewitnesses from the Kuda Huvadhoo concurred that the aeroplane was travelling North to South-East, towards the Southern tip of the Maldives – Addu.
They also noted the incredibly loud noise that the flight made when it flew over the island. We Saw Low Flying Jet Simular To Malaysian - Maldives Island Residents
"I've never seen a jet flying so low over our island before. We've seen seaplanes, but I'm sure that this was not one of those. I could even make out the doors on the plane clearly.
It's not just me either, several other residents have reported seeing the exact same thing. Some people got out of their houses to see what was causing the tremendous noise too."
Mohamed Zaheem, the Island Councilor of Kuda Huvadhoo, said that the residents of the island had spoken about the incident.
A local aviation expert told Haveeru that it is "likely" for MH370 to have flown over the Maldives. We Saw Low Flying Jet Simular To Malaysian - Maldives Island Residents
The possibility of any aircraft flying over the island at the reported time is extremely low, the expert added.
The Malaysia airlines jet disappeared on March 8 with 239 people on board after taking off from Kuala Lumpur bound for Beijing. Investigators say it was deliberately diverted off course.
Twenty-six countries are now helping to hunt for the plane after satellite and military radar data projected two huge corridors through which it might have flown.

Satellite data suggests that the last "ping" was recieved from the flight somwhere close to the Maldives and the US naval base on Diego Garcia.
But the Maldives is not amongst the countries that Malaysian authorities had sought help from in its search for the missing jet.
Malaysia has listed the countries that it had appealed for assistance: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, China, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and France

Agbakoba Too Rejects N12m Confab Allowance

olisaagbakobaA former National President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mr. Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), on Tuesday rejected the allowance set aside for delegates to the National Conference, which was inaugurated yesterday. It is believed that each delegate would be paid N4 million per month for the duration of the talks.
Agbakoba, a former President of the Civil Liberties Organisation and one of the delegates representing Civil Society Organisations, based his decision on the fact that the conference “is a call to service and an opportunity to chart a new course for our country”.
This was contained in his letter to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Pius Anyim, whose office serves as secretariat for the National Conference.
The letter, entitled ‘Acceptance of nomination as delegate to the National conference’, read, “I write to accept my nomination as one of the 24 civil society delegates to the National Conference.
“I believe the National Conference is a call to service and an opportunity to chart a new course for our country.  Regrettably, I will not be able to accept any form of remuneration/financial benefits from the conference”.
Agbakogba’s action came barely 48 hours after the convener of the Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare, also declared that he would not accept any form of remuneration.
Bakare, representing Ogun State at the conference, had said he made the decision not to collect the money in order to dispel any insinuation that his motivation for accepting to take part in the conference was for material gains.

Jonathan Inaugurates National Conference, Urges Delegates To Focus On Nigerian Agenda

Delegates to the "national Conference"
President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday inaugurated the 492-member national conference with a charge to delegates to shun all manner of selfish personal agenda in favour of the more important national agenda.
Speaking at the inauguration, which held at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja and was witnessed by some former presidents and heads of state, leadership of political parties, members of the National Assembly, state governors and members of the Federal Executive Council, among others, Jonathan said the conference is being convened to engage in intense introspection about the political and socioeconomic challenges confronting the nation, and to chart the best and most acceptable way for the resolution of such challenges in the collective interest of all the constituent parts of our fatherland.
He reiterated that he was convening the conference due to his belief that his administration must assume responsibility for ensuring that the long-running national debate on the best way forward for the country is not in vain.
He urged participants to patriotically articulate and synthesize peoples’ thoughts, views and recommendations for a stronger, more united, peaceful and politically stable Nigeria, forge the broadest possible national consensus in support of those recommendations, and strive to ensure that they are given the legal and constitutional backing to shape the present and the future of our beloved fatherland.
He acknowledged arguments against the conference since an elected Parliament and an elected government are already in place, but he maintained that in the truly democratic nation his administration is striving to build, it must never ignore the loudly expressed views of the majority of ordinary Nigerians.
“I have heard that majority say, that we need to rebuild trust by involving them in the process of developing a guiding document of our national political relationships, which is more acceptable to all sections of the country. I have heard our people say that we need to openly and frankly discuss our problems and seek acceptable solutions instead of allowing them to fester and remain sources of perennial conflict”, he said.
“I have also heard them say that, as the elected representatives of our people, we must never arrogate to ourselves all knowledge and wisdom regarding the development of our country. And I am in full agreement with our people. The power we hold is, without question, in trust for the people. Sovereignty belongs to the people. Their voices must be heard and factored into every decision we take on their behalf”.
He described the conference as a very important avenue for the voices of the people to be heard, their yearnings and desires discussed. He assured that delegates were neither usurping the role of the National Assembly nor the Executive, but are only complementing them in the country’s march towards a greater and stronger union.
He further disagreed with the argument that since several conferences had been held in the past, another one is not needed.
“I do not share that view at all. A deeper look will reveal that the challenges we faced before each of the preceding national conferences were different. The challenges of 1956 are certainly not the challenges of 2014, and definitely not the challenges that the nation will face in years to come”, he said.
“It makes sense, therefore, that as the challenges before us evolve, we must be constant and proactive in our search for fresh solutions. We cannot continue to proffer yesterday’s solutions for today’s problems”.
He again urged delegates not to approach the issues to be discussed with suspicion and antagonism, but to be open-minded and work to achieve what is best for Nigeria.
“Even though you come to the Conference as nominees and representatives of different interest groups, I urge you all to make a more united, stronger, indivisible and prosperous Nigeria your preoccupation and reference point at this national gathering.  Whatever the pressures on you may be, I call upon you to put the best interest of Nigeria before all other sectional or group interests”, he said.
“Indeed, I am quite worried when I hear people say that some participants in this National Conversation are coming here to defend and promote ethnic or clannish agenda. It is very regrettable that there are persons who believe that we cannot undertake any collective task in our country without the hindrance of ethnic rivalry even after 100 years of nationhood.
“This conference gives us an opportunity to prove such persons wrong and I believe it will. As we start a new century of nationhood, we have an obligation to reshape and redirect our country for the benefit of our children. There should be no room for divisive cleavages and ethnic jingoism. There should be no room for selfish considerations that defeat the purpose of national progress. There should be room only for the national interest”.
The conference, to be chaired by erstwhile Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Retired Justice Idris Kutigi, will last for three months.
Recently, national conversations around its tasks have been dwarfed by reports that each of the 492 participants will receive a bumper pay of N12m, sparking widespread condemnation from leading civil and political organisations.
