A group of senior Manchester United players have reportedly expressed doubts to the club hierarchy over Jose Mourinho’s impending appointment.
According to the Daily Mail, the delegation have major worries about the Portuguese’s pragmatic style of play and tendency to leave clubs after three to four seasons.
Current boss Louis van Gaal has come in for criticism over the style he has implemented at Old Trafford, and the squad want a more attacking manager put in charge.
United seem set to appoint Mourinho this week, after current boss Louis van Gaal failed to get the team in to the Champions League.
However, the Dutchman did win the FA Cup, the first time the club has done so since 2004.
Meanwhile, Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea last season, with the 53-year-old miring the Blues in controversy before his eventual departure.
